I forgot my password for this Blog.
Sorry to inform you but I have got it back dear readers! lol

Nothing much has happened here really. I started with a bit of a cold yesterday, so now dribbling. Very annoying. Don't feel ill with it, thank goodness.

Started smoking again last Thursday. After 46 days of hell. Not happy about it. Anyway, it's Lent and I haven't had one today. I will try and overcome it this time. Have everything known to man (and woman) to help me stop.

Not been to work since last Tuesday, going again on Friday and Saturday, Yippee. Was asked to go yesterday but I gracefully declined. Well, I had plans and also, don't want to spread the germs all over the patients do I?

I hate the stuff. I may have told you before. I don't know why I am rabbiting on, only a few flakes here today.

Not done much today, just lazy, am taking rest before my mammoth 4 shifts. That will be four in a row. It's ages since I did that.
Hope I can manage. lol Not as young as I was you know. In fact, my third, twenty first birthday is nearly due.

If I keep off the cigs, maybe I will get a lot older. Ah well, we will see.

It's cold, our car is completely covered in frost. Looks pretty. Better than snow I suppose. Roll on summer. Can't wait to complain about how hot it is! lol

Bathroom carpet.

Bathroom carpet is in situ! It looks really good too. We are both pleased with it.

When the gents came to put it down, the carpet looked very blue, we had in our mind that it was very grey. So, us and gents had a sticky moment.
It was over two weeks ago since we saw the sample and we aren't as young as we were! lol

Anyway, all is well except himdownstairs is upstairs and is taking a bit off the bottom of the bathroom door! Always summat isn't there??? lol.

Sunday. Ironing not Nursing!

Nurse yesterday, ironer today. I don't really like ironing. But it has to be done every now and then.
Been bright and cold here today.
Last night, after work, it was so foggy. As we live near water, it was mistier.
My daffs are showing, give it a month or two or three and we will be on the right side of spring and summer!

Thursday, busy!

Good job I had a lazy day yesterday, I have really made up for it today though!
Only 3 nurses. I only worked for 6 hours, I am shattered! The other two had been on since 7 am. Gone are the days when I used to get up for that shift.
No work tomorrow, shopping etc. Back on Saturday though. Ahh well.

Wednesday. Lazy time! 31st Jan.

Tomorrow, work.
Today we would have liked to go and see our cousins', but left it too late. So really, I have had a boring day. I felt really tired, so that might be why I felt bored eh?

Cold weather, grey sky. No rain, hail, snow or frost though, no sun either! Still we can't have everything can we?

I have tried to write my friend an email. Started it this morning. I find my life so exciting, I just don't know what to write!
Look, a pink elephant just passed by my window!!! That's a lie too, the curtains are drawn so I wouldn't have seen it would I?

Still not had a cig, could merrily murder one at the moment though. Not going to. If you have had the misfortunate to read other Blogs of mine, you will have noticed by now that I have not had a cig this year! Plenty of sweets, chocolate, patches and a dummy cig but not a real cigarette. Lordy, Lordy, it is a very hard thing to do. But if I can go this far, so can others and if I have gone this far, I can go further!

I remember a nurse I used to work with years ago.
She didn't smoke. I aked her if she minded if I smoked, she said no she didn't mind and I could burst into flames if I wanted to. I thought that was ace!!!!
